What is PPM Forum?

The Electricity Prepayment Metering Forum (PPM Forum) is a group established to provide a forum for the exchange of, and discussion on, matters relating to all types of electricity prepayment meters and the management of Tariff Bands for these meters.

What is PPM Forum made up of?

PPM Forum has a total of 30 Members made up of large and small Suppliers, Prepayment Meter Infrastructure Providers (PPMIPs), National Services Providors (NSPs) and Regulatory Bodies. A full list of current Members can be found here.

What is Prepayment Metering?

Prepayment is the equivalent of ‘Pay as you go’, an alternative to a credit account. Traditional prepayment meters use a key to apply value to the meter.

What is a Key Supplier ID?

A Key Supplier ID is a two digit identifier used in Dataflows. It is required for every Supplier & PPMIP combination, and is used for the allocation of transactions. A list of all Key Supplier IDs can be found here.
